The Chokklit Shop
Is this bad economy affecting dating and relationships? Of course it is! You know how we women are! A large number of us determine a man’s worth according to the amount of money he spends.
Maybe it’s time to cut a guy some slack. Yeah, you do stand a chance of getting duped! The cheap guys who were cheap in a booming economy, now have a reason to be cheap. But hey, you might really get to know a cool cheap guy.
There is nothing wrong with going out for drinks during the time that they offer the “drink specials.” With the current gas prices, guys may attempt to give us women a two drink minimum, but don’t get offended.
It’s summer time; don’t start complaining because he’s taking advantage of outdoor activities. For instance, instead of going to a pricey restaurant, he may suggest a picnic in the park, hanging out by the pool, or chilling on the patio.
Look at it from a positive perspective, more “talking” and less body bumping. Besides, it’s too damn hot for all that! People move too fast anyway, so now you can finally get to know a guy for who he really is, the way dating should be.
Tell me what you think…

Chapter Two: How Did I Get Here?
Every guy that lived on my block wanted to date me, or as I suspected, just wanted to sleep with me. I was hated by most girls because I was the essence of true beauty; fair-skin, long hair, slender shape, great personality. When I was in the room it didn’t matter who else was there; I commanded their attention by my physique and persona. With my long beautiful hair, extraverted personality, and long slender shape that was better than any coca-cola bottle on the market; I drove men wild. Even though I loved the attention, I never gave in to any of them. I liked to tease them and play the game of catch-me-if-you-can, and I must say I played the game very well. I thought it was hilarious how far men would go just to get a piece of me. My objective was to get as many men to passionately desire me, and not give in to any of them. I got what I wanted, which was attention, and they got nothing but weariness from chasing me. This was not my only game I had in my little bag of tricks.

Chokkklit Shop - Pick-up lines
The art of the pick up line seems to be in play more often in the Summer time than any other time of the year, but Spring is a good time to get an early start. Maybe has something to do with the heat, maybe the increased opportunities as the season heats up and we all tend to do more
outdoor socializing. The trip to the beach, the picnic, cookout or concert; wherever there are men and women mingling you know it's game time. Call it game because women act like they don't want to be hollered at, but they put themselves in the direct line of attack; why? The verbal arsenal got them stuck like a deer in headlights!
You know as a woman that if you step out your door and go to an event, the fellas are going to try to spit game. Game, it really is a game; how do you win or loose at this ritual, right of passage of picking a mate. Women want the attention, the affirmation that they're attractive. Men are looking for the best possible mate, or at least some action; she may not be the right one, but she can be Miss Right-Now!
Game on!!

Chokkklit Shop - A fling or a long-term relationship?
There's something about spring and summer that makes everyone think that they should be coupled. Maybe it's the advertiser's images of vacation getaways, showing happy couples dancing, kissing and romping on the beach. Is it Mother Nature; those warm summer nights that let us know winter is over and we can come out of hibernation. You can't listen to the radio late nights without running into a Love Zone, Quite Storm, Midnight Whispers, Smooth Grooves or by any other name an ode to romance and couples. So, if you didn't have anyone to keep you warm before, then now's the time to find him or her. Whatever the reason, it just seems to be the thing to do, our nature.
If you hook-up with a guy on your vacation to the Bahamas, or Jamaica you can definitely rule that a summer fling. But if you met a guy at the company picnic or a friend's wedding reception and you hit it off, how do you know that there is long term potential? The best way to approach this is like any other relationship, let it build slowly. There is no way to microwave a relationship or else it will be ready, done, and over in microwave minute. Just because everything around you is pushing for a spring romance, doesn't mean you have to fast track the relationship before summer ends. Seasons will come and go, but if you want him around for while, take your time, enjoy the outdoor activities that spring and summer offers and move slowly toward the hot summer night, steamy sex scenes that you long for. If you dive right in, you have removed a very crucial step in building a relationship. You've forgotten to be friends first, before becoming his buss-it-baby.
6th Month Realization (NottHead - 09)
I never said I was ready for a relationship
I never said I was looking for a commitment
You know I care deeply,
I am emotionally involved
But remember
This thing of ours
Is more than casual
But it was always subject to change
But remember
