Intimacy In Your Arms

Let the heavens roar, I'm not afraid,
For I'm safe in your arms tonight.
Wrapped, In this blanket of love,
That together we have woven.
Sharing the moment,
Caught up, In the age old mystery,
Of this thing called passion.

Skin against skin,
My heat against your coolness.
The slightest brush, of your fingertips,
Flaming my desires.
Your eyes beckon, teasing me,
Causing me to ache, For that sweet surrender.
Yearning, for that blessed release,
I melt into your arms,
Lost to the world around me.

For in your arms alone, I am complete.
Whole and untouched, by the heartaches that haunt me
And even yet, I would live them all again,
If they would bring me here to you.
