Are you having the romantic life you have always wanted and imagined? Welcome to the club that has many members who feel and live exactly the way you do! Romance is always simple and carefree when it is being acted out in our imaginations. We can come up with the most unbelievable and breathtaking ideas and play scenes that make the best romantic movies look amateur. The only catch to all this however, is that they are developed in our fantasies and stay there, without ever actually taking place in our real lives. Why is that? Why is it so easy for us to fantasize about the most amazing romances, but can never find such romances that really exist? Does it just not happen? Is there no such thing?

I believe it's possible. I believe, I live the fairytale love story of my own. There is no such thing as a Fairytale love dream come true.. until you create its existence. That's right, you carry the key that will open the magical door to making all of your romantic dreams come true. What did you expect to find out? That someday an invisible wand will be waved over you, miraculously bringing you and your meant to be honey together? Growing up, I can remember the characteristics of the perfect mate for myself. I remember down to the very eye color how he would look, smell, act, and be. Even though it took awhile, I eventually found him. He is perfect in my eyes! We have all had relationships that didn't work, and most of us have encountered some sort of heart break however, when I took the time to go back to that original blue print of the perfect mate, things started to change where my love life was concerned.

There is always a "Power Couple" in the midst; a couple that everyone wants to be like. Most of my friends view my husband and I as that "Power Couple". For my husband and I, The couple we emulate would be his brother and sister in law. They are older and wiser and more experienced and exactly how we want to be. The truth is, every couple can be like this by following the traits of the characters you formed your dream relationship from. Start living your life the way you want to by applying the following traits of a fairy tale couple today!

It's easy to be fascinated by other people's love affairs and desire to have what they have, especially if the relationship is intense, happy, and seemingly problem-free. These great love stories epitomize an idea that everyone would love to attain. However, keep in mind that you are seeing only the public image of the relationship. The best way to learn about how to have the greatest love story ever is to listen to how other happy couples do it. Study and learn...that's what my husband and I did.

• Practice good communication. Communication skills include considering the part you play in the problem, trying not to be defensive, and seeing the issue from your partner's perspective.
• Have realistic expectations for a long relationship. Realize that change involves ups and downs and appreciate the effect that major changes, such as having children, will have on your relationship.
• Make time for each other. Make regular dates, have fun together, and take every opportunity to be affectionate.
