Who's Online
Written by Yvonne Padgett - ReferMyHomeBiz.com
I was talking to someone today and I mentioned a business I heard about awhile back during a telesummit that I was listening to that I was fascinated with. It’s called “Cubes and Crayons”.
It’s a daycare/office set up in Silicon Valley CA and I immediately jumped online to find out more. After I was reminded of this today, I just had to share it with you.
They offer a daycare option for children (infants – 5 years of age) in one area while the adults can work on laptops in another area that is set up like a professional office space. Parents can choose a full-time schedule, part-time schedule or just drop in care depending on their needs.
Here's what they have on their website:

We appreciate that you are looking for helpful information to help your home based business grow. You'll find heaps of great content and information about running a home based business.
"Cubes" isolate. The goal at Cubes&Crayons is to give you a great professional community while your child is playing in a safe environment. Drop your laptop on a desk or lounge chair with tablet in our open work space and start work. Wi-Fi included. No hidden charges. Mingle over coffee and cookies. If you need your privacy, just head into an office or conference room. Offices and conference rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis or by reservation for an additional fee.
I LOVE THIS IDEA!
This is one of these, why hasn't someone already done this before kind of ideas!! It's brilliant! (I've been watching alot of BBC channel recently).
If you have small kids, working at home while you are also taking care of them is I think the single most challenging thing on the planet! It is a very hard juggling act for anyone and everyone. I've said it before and I'll say it again, motherhood is the single hardest job I've ever had and the toughest day in the office was a VACATION by comparison and I only had 1 child (but as they say, "he was a handful").
