Clay Kraski hunting

You may know Clay E. Kraski as an Organ & Tissue specialist, actor and/or writer, (Atlanta Homicide, Training Day, Missing, Dirty Martini, etc.) but his true passion may be for the outdoors. As an outdoorsman, this former U.S. Marine, hunts, fishes, climbs , scuba-dives, surfs, etc. whatever it takes to be closer to nature. His next big adventure, currently planning is to climb Mont. Blanc (Alps).

He has traveled extensively, most notably throughout Africa, Africa endulges Clay's interest in the anthropological foundation of man, and the zoological observation of countless animals.

Clay's recent adventures included being "bush robbed" by a large baboon (film and supplies were nabbed). He interacted with numerous tribes, including a small group of Bushmen (San) in the Kalahari, who guided him on foot to hunt game. "These are truly a remarkable, short-statured and loving people," he stresses. The Bushmen are marooned in a sense, between traditional life and the modern world.

Clay's explorations, including regions of the Okavango Delta, where one morning he was rammed by a hippo while on a small boat. An hour later while scouting on foot for Cape Buffalo with only a knife and camera; his group mistakenly stumbled upon a small pride of lions (three females/ two males) hunting Lechwe. "Quite unsettling," as he put it, then further added: "We were within thirty feet of them before we finally became aware! "Never again will I journey into the bush without a weapon", Clay exclaimed. It could mean the difference between life and limb.

Also inserted into the footage are regions of Zimbabwe (Formerly Rhodesia), a place that not only harbors the spectacular beauty of Victoria Falls on the Zambezi river, but perhaps more infamously, a country which has been thrust into such disarray with environmental, medical economic and political strife that: "The people are literally just struggling to survive!" he explains. Furthermore, he expanded with the thought that he wished more could (would) be done and would be interested in working with groups focused on making a difference and helping provide a voice.

Side note: All game meat (hunting aspects) was provided to the tribes.

Enjoy the video and keep posted for further additions.
