Jay Lamont (www.myspace.com/jaylamont) started out working as a radio personality for radio stations in Oklahoma City and Houston, Texas. After relocating to Houston, he began to embark on a career in the comedy business as well as a singer. During the time in Houston, he was invited to perform at a local comedy club where he met various individuals who would help in broadening his career. He had the chance to appear on the first season of BET's Comic View and later, he appeared on Showtime At The Apollo, Russell Simmon's Def Comedy Jam, Jamie Foxx presents Laffapalooza and recently, 'Comics Unleashed Hot Chocolate' with Byron Allen.

Jay Lamont is also a member of two R&B groups in which he's the lead vocalist. He has toured all around the country and also, he's involved in an accepella group out of Oakland, Ca. called 'Chelle & Friends (chellemusic.com). Presently, he lives in LA and plans to do more and make alot of things happen in the future.
