The comic stars come out for the Return of Miami Nites hosted by Marvin Dixon. Dixon returns home with
some of his funny friends to put on a show reminiscent of where his early days of comedy began. The venue was different than back in the days when the promoters of Miami Nites brought the biggest acts in Hip-Hop and comedy to the Magic City. On this night Dixon brought with him: Jay Lamont, Hope Flood, Doo Doo Brown, Darius Bradford, T. K. Kirkland, Larry Dogg, and others.
Miami Nites was the legendary spot in Miami Gardens that hosted events for comics and entertainers. The likes of Tupac, Biggie, Niki Howard, Al B. Sure, Maze; as well comedians Bengi Brown, Marvin Dixon, Razor and many more graced the stage for these events. UMG, Unlocked Records, Hood on Blast will be in the building; unlocking the old with the new.
The after party was held at Karu & Y with a musical performance by JT Money; see interviews and photos from all the events of the night.
After the show is the after party! The limo picks the celebrity guest up from the show venue and carts them off to club Karu & Y for the after party sponsored by UMG – Hood On Blast. UMG has the evening events covered; starting with photos from the James L Knight Center, the arrival at Karu & Y, the mingling in the club, interviews for Hood On Blast and photos from the JT Money performance.
